Thanks to Suzanne Schafer of 0900, here is a great technical video for runners published in the New York Times yesterday about Olympic hopeful Sara Hall. These drills should be familiar to our Morning Bootcampers as we’ve been practicing them throughout the past few months. Pay special attention to the technical nuances in the video (dorsiflexing the foot, booty kicks, etc.) and experiment with them while running this week. Have fun!

Go Dr. E!
Dr. E is helluv fierce!
Dr. E is kicking booty right now, and has a nice one too! Nice running last night against the mighty Nick! Go E!
Great video. I liked the article as well, especially this point: “To help with form, “those of us in the elite-distance running community have started looking at what sprinters do,” Mahon said.”
Oh yeah, Dr. E vs. Nick on sprints last night was nothing less than pure excitement.
Thanks guys! What you don’t see in that picture is that Tracy was kicking my a** with the resistance band — she had me fighting for every inch on that drill! And sprinting against Nick was great, he was pushing me from start to finish. These running drills are fun
