After two months of production time, we’re excited to bring you a mini-documentary highlighting the IC Kettlebell Girls’ training and competition adventures. This 7 minute movie captures the sweat, blood, tears, and joy of our team in action. See what it took the team to make it to the 2008 IKFF/NAKF National Meet in Michigan.
We would like to give thanks to some very special people for directly helping us excel in this remarkable sport: Valery Fedorenko, Catherine Imes, Steve Cotter, Ken Blackburn, Eric Liford, Jon Hoskins, Marty Farrell, Kevin Jodrey, Bonnie Carlson, & C-Duff. These folks are not only amazing athletes and teachers, but also pioneers of Kettlebell Sport in the U.S.
A big shout also goes to the organizations that have made it possible for us to train and compete: AKC, IKFF, NAKF, Athleta, and APT.
Finally, to all the amazing people of the IC, thank you for the love you continue to exhibit towards bellin’…
Enjoy the movie!

thanks for sharing the blood, sweat and tears (and Mateo) with us- fun to watch and inspirational!
these ladies are FIERCE!!!
those bloody blisters… not exactly a ringing endorsement for the sport…
Kick ass!! (Am I allowed to say that?)
Awesome video. You guys (gals) continue to inspire!
Thanks Howie. I think we’ll see you in NYC sometime next year. Take care.
That is a great tribute to our ICKB Girls. The synchronization reminds me of the diving competitions of the Olympics
A standing ovation to all the stellar performances and coaching. Go Ice Chamber!
I love these women – tough but so hot. Must be the hottest bellers ever.
I’m very proud of these ladies. Their conduct on and off the platform is always admirable.
I know that Maya has said this already, but I have to send much personal gratitude to my coach, Catherine Imes. Without her, we would not have developed the technical qualities to compete on a national level. CI continues to be a force behind Team IC!
Great Video…
I met these ladies at the IKFF/NAKF meet in Flint..
My first Impression was, isn’t it cute that the girls are trying this sport out… Wow, was I off base (again) these ladies are completely civilized off the platform, once they get on platfrom… forget the nice shoes and whatnot.. they came to put up numbers and that they did…WOW!!
I visited the IC last month. I got the opportunity to train with these ladies and Steven.. All I can say is they are for real and this video only gives a small slice of the deication and passion they have for this sport..These ladies have busy lives, I think they are all married and most of them have kids..so if you are thinking that you got no time for training…think again..You ladies continue to inspire and motivate us all and we are very lucky to have such classy people in this sport.. Keep training and I will see you all soon,
Chris
Very down to earth ladies but awesome just the same. I had a blast working with you and seeing compete well seemingly coming out of nowhere. I would like to blog about your experience so far.
You guys definitely have the right attitude!
