All competitors must check in no later then 10am on November 22 for the official rules meeting. Individual competitions will start promptly at 10:10am. Awards ceremony will commence at 1:45pm. See you on the platform!
Jeepers, creepers! I can’t believe we’re down to the final week.
Having watched some of the amazing, powerful IC women practicing their best moves in the last few weeks, I’m thinking that the overall women’s champion performance is going to be a thing of beauty. And, needless to say, not me! (Sorry, dudes – haven’t been watching you all.)
However, I’m pretty sure our team is going for “most extemporaneous” in the synchro category. As long as the rest of you are laughing with us, it’s all good…
What is a thing of beauty is how much everyone has prossed these last couple of months. I am inspired and blown away by everyone’s dedication.
I can’t believe you found trophies with little kettlebells on them…
The trophies were custom designed and forged for the IC. There are no KB trophies around that I’m aware of. Trust me – I searched the globe.
I got to talk with Rune last night (he’s at the Chino fire) and told him to come back in time-the trophies are sweet. Glad we gave him a small role in the routine! What time does the syncro start?
The sychro starts around 1:40pm. It will be over fast.
I heart these trophies the most. They are by far the cutest ever!!!
I’m not sure if we’ll win those trophies or not BUT I promise you, no one will ever forget our routine.
For the individual competion, I am not to begin until about 11:40 and I do not envision being at the gym until 11:30, is there a way to check in closer to the start time rather than at 10:00am. Is there a printed set of the rules?

The rules meeting starts at 10am. If you miss that, you won’t know a “good” rep from a “bad” rep. Then, you might hold a grudge against the judge, and so on…
So yeah, show up at 10am.
Custom designed trophies?! I hate to say it…but that motivates me more than anything!

Steve, Thanks for getting back to me. If this is something that I have to miss then I have to miss. I will not hold a grudge and will take responsibility for my choices. This is just more time than I have. Perhaps I will come a bit early and observe folks before me.
